can i turn my downloaded mp3 music into ringtones?
I don't want to buy ringtones. I got a usb cable so that i could download music to my phone and then use it as ringtones, but my friend says this can't be done because songs are too long. I have an lg cu500 phone. I also have a 1gb sd mini card in my phone.

- mobile17.com This lets you pick any MP3's on your computer and pick out a certain part, then sends it to your phone in an MMS. It might cost you .$25 to receive it and it might take a while since there are wait times but otherwise it is free. Take a peek, I use it all the time.
- u can put any sort of mp3 audio into ur phone but if its ringtones dat you want go to this page and download this program http://www.maaboo.com/soft/audio_mp3/audio_converters/2256Mobile-Ringtone-Converter.htm the only thing you have to do is try to keep it open you can use it al you want as long as you dont close it..u can open it like 20 times after dat ur trial ends..its pretty easy to use once you have wat u want just click save and create a folder for ringtones or something..then send them via usb to ur phone...
- well first of all you're right. you dont have to really pay for ringtones, like some people here ask you to ,..you can try www.mymp3tone.com, and its my fav. site for editing songs online, and i dont even need a USB cable cause i download the mp3s to my mobile via WAp..this is a free website as well so free ringtones@@!!!
