can you set your music files as ringtones on verizon cell phones?

I just switched to verizon. Cant figure out how to set my music as ringtones on the LG Chocolate.

1. when you go to settings, go to sounds, then ringers, go to caller ID, then instead of scrolling down, scroll over and it will give you all the sound menu's your phone has (or at least thats what it goes on my phone and I've got verizon). good luck.
2. They may have made it so you can no longer use MP3 files. Try converting them to WMA and it should work. Look here for a good converter. http://www.blazemp.com/
