  3. ringtone should be in MP3 format for Motorolla V3M. Your V3M should comes with a software that shorten the whole song, make the part of the song into the ringtone. If not, there are lots of software to do that. Just google for "free ringtone maker" Throw in your CD into your computer, you can save any song into MP3 by using Windows Media Player, option - save format, choose MP3. Its very easy. Ring tones.... The V710/E815/V3C/V3M supports.. General Midi (polyphonic), iMelody (monophonic), MP3 files and Yamaha SMAF format .MMF files as ringers. Files to be used as ringers must exist in the phone's memory. Note: When making ringers, keep in mind that for Verizon phones, the ringer only plays for about 25 to 30 seconds before the call is sent to voice mail. If you phone is set to Vibrate then Ring, the play time will be even less. So, save phone space, and trim your files down to be 30 seconds or less. If you cut song and make less of the quality(Mono), then Mp3 might work. Or you can convert the Mp3 to general Midi file.
