Do I have to have a media card to get music/ringtones from my computer to my blackberry?

I just got a new blackberry and do not want to spend money on ringtones. Is it possible for me to get music from my computer to my blackberry with out a media card? If so, how? (I have a USB cable and Blackberry software is installed)

1. you will need a memory card in order to place full songs on your phone otherwise it will use up your internal memory and make your phone run slower or like with my phone it erased my messages ones i had from previous days and new incoming ones you can find cheap memory cards online hope this helps
