Is myxer really free? Or a scam?

I am looking for websites that offer FREE ringtones that can be sent to your phone without being charged or a scam, which they later bill me $345343 dollars or something. The only other website I know of is funformobile.com they are a good one too but they never have the songs I want. Is there any websites that are good or is MYXER really free? thanks
