Why does my iPhone delete all my music and videos when I put on Ringtones?

Well the question pretty much says it whenever I try to sync ringtones it says it will remove all my music and videos. Then if I put music back on when ringtones are on then it removes my ringtones. How can I get Ringtones, music and movies all on at the same time?
