  2. ok is very simple open itunes select any song you want for ring tone select the option get info for that song when you do that you will see a pop up windows with this options summary-info--video-sorting--option-lyrics-artwork you clik on options then you will see a place where it says |_| start time _______- |_| stop time _______- for example if the song is 3 minutes and you like a specific part of that song you have to pay attention where it begins and where it ends I mean the second or minutes ---------------- EXAMPLE------------- |_| start time_2:00__ part that you like at the start 2 minutes |_| stop time _2:35__must end in 2:35 you will have a ring tone of 30s I'm not quite sure but I think the maximum is 35 seconds or 40 for each ring tone close the pop up window After doing that you have to create an AAC version select the same song you've made changes and go to the advanced option clik on create AAC version wait until is done. try to find the AAC version this AAC VERSION you can find below the original move the ACC version to desktop once is on the desktop delete the AAC VERSION from itunes in the process itunes will give you 3 option CANCEL---KEEP FILE---MOVE--TRASH you clik on kepfile go to desktop and find the song you have copied from itunes clik on the song get info from this song and here you change the format of that song FROM M4A TO M4R when you do this a pop up windows ask you if you are sure of this change you clik on USE.M4A all you do is delete the A and add R EXAMPLE lasgo-something.m4a original CHANGED lasgo-something.m4r ringtone
  3. Hello Dan Look at this step by step video included in the description below to show you how to create ringtones for your iphone. This does work with windows as well. And you can make ringtones longer than 30 sec. Yeah it's quick and easy using this method. I've been doing this for the past 3 years and have never had any problems. However people should know that if the 'Create AAC Version' option is not available when you right click, you change it by going to the import setting under Preferences and change the 'Import Using:' option to AAC then it will appear.
