Making songs on Memory Card into Ringtones?

Ok I got my LG Lotus today and put songs on the memory card (micro sd) How do I make those songs into ringers (for free please...no internet on phone) Ok i did everything the website said but it says there are no files on my memory card. never mind, i figured out i didnt convert the mp3 files to video files never mind that never mind, i converted everything but the memory card didnt have any videos.

1. http://www.ventones.com/free-sprint-ringtones-without-internet sprint does not allow you to use mp3 files in the memory card as ringtones. they block that. the only way is to follow the above tutorial from ventones and convert the mp3 files to a video file. then transfer that to your memory card. ventones is the only free ringtone site that allows you to do that. its awesome!
