How to make mp3 files into ringtones on palm centro?

I am trying to make my mp3 files into ringtones on my palm centro, but nothing works. I have tried the email method, but i can't get the songs to download. When i try to use the method to save them to my micro sd card, and then save them as ringtones, it doesn't give me the option to save them as ringtones. I am following instructions completely, and it still never gives me an option to save as ringtones. Is there a program that i can install on my centro to make mp3 files ringtones? Cn anyone give me a simple version of how to make mp3's into ringtones for palm centro? PLEASE@ !
