HOw can i assign files on my memory card as ringtones on my lg rumor?

i bought the micro card because i have a bunch of free ringtones downloaded on my mac and i thought i could use it on my phone, i have used the same type of ringtones but transfered thru sms which cost data usage, so i thought i could do the same with the memory card, but idk how to assign them from the micro card folder. Does anyone kno what to do?

1. on my lg rumor , which is with sprint, you cannot use files on your memory card as ringtones. Sprint has blocked all of their phones from this feature. there is ONLY one way, and that is by using a free ringtone site called ventones http://www.ventones.com/free-sprint-ringtones-without-internet click on their tutorial on the left, called Free Sprint Ringtones Without Internet. Basically, they will tell you to upload the mp3 file that you wish to convert into a ringtone, and then once you do that, click on the link that says "Sprint customers without internet" , and that will take you to the tutorial page, where you will see a link to download the special converted ringtone file. Download that file and transfer it to your memory card. It will work, and its free!
