Download totally free ringtones

is there any program i can use to turn my mp3 into ringtones?

i have a motorola w490 and i want to find a software to turn mp3 into ringtones and one to put mp3 on my phone since it has an mp3 player.. anyone know what i can use?

1. if ur phone has internet then yo could go buy and program called "ring factory" from any software sales place. ie: staples, circuit city. then you can choose any song you have on your computer (itunes is cool to use) or just insert a cd and load it into the program and you can cut and chop your songs to what you want to hear when you get that ringtone. its simple to use and its cheap. www.ringfactory.com should be able to tell you if ur phone is compatible or not. just follow the steps on the page.
2. VENTONES is the only site that works on all of my phones. They have the first and best free ringtone maker. Just click where it says CREATE FREE RINGTONES and follow instructions, 1) upload an mp3 file, 2) make a ringtone out of it, for free, 3) they text it to you 4) if you don't get the text message, open your browser, and type in the address of the URL of the ringtone, easy No need to download anything to your pc. Better than going through 3 different programs or steps, just use their online ringtone making tools if that phone is with tmobile, you will internet to download the ringtone from the link they send you, or else it wont work if you dont have internet, email me ill tell you another way
