Download totally free ringtones

Is there any way to make ringtones for the updated razr v9m?

I have an older version of the phone and i can make ringtones but a friend of mine recently purchased the phone and cannot make ringtones. I assume it is an update for the newer version of the phone but I'm wondering if there is any way around it.
