How do I put ringtones in my Verizon Phone?

WITHOUT a cord? I mean, I know a website that sends mp3 stuff to my phone -- and it DOES work, but it just gets sent to "my sounds" -- and it's not able to be put into my ringtones. Can anyone help with this? I really want a new ring tone :\ Or is it just impossible -- do I NEED to buy a cord-thing?

1. you need the cord, knowhow and time to think about it. You can just BUY the ringtones from verizon. easy, right? you can do it free as well, just the abover disclaimer, cord, time and knowhow. no free lunch.
2. Well, I have a Verizon phone and all your SOUNDS can be set up as ringtones... I download my ringtones from www.phonezoo.com and when I received them...I send them to my ringtone file. go to your SETTING & TOOLS>>>Sound Settings>> CALL SOUND>>>CALL RINGTONES...that is where you set up your Master ring tones..to all the calls that came into your phone
3. record sounds and send them to yourself, then save as ringtone
4. I always use Ventones and works they will give you the instructions its really easy and free
