How do I put my own ringtones on my verizon razor?

I have a few songs that i want to put on my phone as my ringtone. I have no idea how though. I can put the music on my phone, but I don't have a clue how to make them my ringtone. Any suggestions?

1. from the main screen press right on the arrow pad. This is the get it now menu. #1 is tunes and tones, select that and press o.k. then go to the #2 get new selection and press o.k. then select the VZW tones deluxe and press o.k. This will upload the music you can buy on the phone. You can search by artist,song title, genre, etc. You can preview anything before purchasing. You can also get ringbacktones as well. I have a Razor too. Good luck.
2. check out myxertones.com You can make your own ringtones from the songs uploaded by others, or upload your own. This is the only site I have found to work for verizon and it is totally free. You will have to download the song to your computer and then attach it to an email and send it to your phone. The ringtone will be sent to your phone through a picture message, and then you can save it to your phone from there. Once you receive the message hit options and you will see how you are able to save it.The site has instructions, just follow their directions.
3. VENTONES. com (works great for verizon) go to that site, its FREE and if you have the mp3 file, use their online ringtone Creator to make the ringtone 1) upload an mp3 file 2) select the ringtone segment 3) create your ringtone it works on enV and Venus from Verizon, make sure to follow the instructions If you need help, email me, I can show you
4. you convert it using free open source program like audacity, just clip the part of the song that you want and save to the format your phone supports, also make sure it meets the right length.
