1. No, I have tried many times. Also if it says free ringtones there is a huge catch.
2. No. Ringtones are never actually "free". Like the 1st guy said, there is ALWAYS a HUGE catch. More then likely you have to buy a membership to a website/magazine/ect, then get 5 other people to do it, and THEN you get your "free" ringtone...and usually, the ringtone you get is polyphonic (it's not an actual song, it's a bunch of beeps that sound like a song) just ask your parents for $20 or save up $20, go to a supermarket/drugstore, buy a Virgin Mobile Top-Up card, place it on your Virgin Mobile account, and PRESTO-you can buy about 10 ringtones!
3. well, you could try mobile forum where members share ringtones if you want free. i make my own ringtones using audacity but if i want good quality sound i get them from those legit place on the web.
