is there a way to get free ringtones for verizon phones?

i hate how verizon makes it so hard to get free ringtones. sprint has a site called 3g4free.com that has hundreds of free ringtones for sprint phones

1. Well here's a trick that I learned being in the cell phone industry now keep it on the down low because I don't want it to go away. OK if you have a phone capable of playing MP3's then what you do is go to a website like Wal-mart and go to the music section and look for the samples. Many websites will give you sample MP3's of albums and song to hear to see if you want to purchase it. Next right click on the actual link to the MP3 and copy the shortcut now all you have to do is send yourself a text message from Verizon's website or one of the other free txt Messaging sites and cut and past the shortcut in the message and send it. If you have a phone with Internet capability and will play MP3's then this should connect you to the site and grab that MP3. It grabs the preview MP3 which is perfect because most ringtones or a condensed version of a song in a loop and that's what you get. Hope that helped I know it did for me.
