how much could i sell this compaq laptop for?

Compaq laptop 15.4" Windows xp home edition Mobile AMD Sempron processor----1.6Ghz 256mb ram 40Gig harddrive 24x DVD-Rom/CD-RW combo drive *included with this laptop is 1.Mcafee antivirus suite(free for lifetime/boughten version) 2.Microsoft Office 2007 ultimate(includes Word,Powerpoint,excell,onenote,outlook,access,groove,infopath) 3.Create ringtone(program to make/send ringtones to ur cell 4.Nero ultra 7(burn/create cds/movies) any help would be appreciated ty or could i make more by upgrading the ram up to a gig? would cost about 140 to do so o common microsoft office alone is a $500 program.

1. 150$, only because of the included programs. The hardware is almost worthless. You may be able to pull 200$ out of it, but I wouldn't pay more than 150$ tops.

5. I don’t think you can make more by upgrading RAM (and HDD). Final price – upgrade cost will be same as if you sold it without upgrading. But the upgrade will make it a lot easier to sell. If you want to make more out of selling office then do it separately. I don’t think anyone who wants to “UPGRADE” to Office 2007 will buy a notebook with it that can barely run it. Nor someone looking for a cheap notebook like yours would be interested in paying so much for Office 2007.... Keep office to yourself or sell it separately.
