How do I make custom ringtones for my LG Muziq?

Hi. I just bought the LG Muziq from Virgin Mobile Canada and I cannot find a way to make my mp3 ringtones. I've tried websites like Ventones and Mobile17, etc. but I think they are for American cellphones because it's not working. If you know any others, feel free to link me. Other than using BitPim because I don't have a USB cable at the moment - is there anything I can do? Thanks. I can put music on the phone, but it doesn't let me send the music to myself.

1. on my muziq, ventones works fine, but like you said, i have sprint here in the usa, thats why, dont think it would work in canada. bitpim would work, but not sure what the procedure would be
2. hmmm.. how about trying to use the recording feature of your phone.. i'm not sure if this will work with your unit but for me it works in my nokia.. just make sure your source is loud enough so you'll have a better output. good luck!
