7. you can use audicity, you upload an mp3, select what part you want and then you can save the ringtone to your computer or have them email it to you. the reason is that verizon won't let free sites send you ringtones, verizon blocks them. so you have to email the ringtone yourself to your verizon's phone @vzwpix.com address. you may also get legit-safe ringtones from this place.
