Download totally free ringtones

i have the Lg rumor. does anyone know how to take the music from the memory card and use them as ringtones?

I have put the music from my computer to the memory card and can play them on the media player but I want to use those songs as ringtones and text tones but cant figure out how..any help would be greatly appreciated

1. its next to impossible. sprint has disabled that feature on all of their phones. Ive been a sprint customer for years, and they always block that. The easiest way by far is to use your phone's browser, and download it directly. it will cost you without a data plan, sprint charges around 3 cents a kb. best is to get unlimited sprint power vision which is $15 a month. to make the ringtone, use a free service that the site ventones provides. after you make the ringtone, they send you a special link with a file that points to the ringtone on their servers. Its the only and easiest way if you're not a big techie.
2. There's a new website that's no charge you just have to register for free. It's advertising supported, so they wont ask for any money. They have ringtones and wallpapers all free too, its cool. Anyway the name is Cellware is http://cellware.safelinked.info - I go there a lot. See ya.
