Does the w810i (sony ericsson) have the capability to play mp3 songs you input into it as ringtones?

I transfered songs as mp3 files on my w810i phone and tried to set them as ringtones but it says "cannot use file". so i tried to trim the track down to 30 sec and 20. but it still said "cannot use file" but i am able to use it as an alarm signal and message rigner but not a ringtone. im getting a bit frustrated because i use to have the w600i and i had to trouble. so if anyone konws what format it should be or how it can be done it be a great help. thaks

1. U r lucky, bcuz W810 advance user is here :p.. anyway, u can obv. set Mp3s as Ringtones/AlarmSignals/Smstones (even a 10 minutes Mp3). Make sure that the audio bitrate is 128kbps (u can see it in Mp3 file's Properties). if the bitrate is 12kbps n still its not working thats mean u need to re-flash ur phone!!!
