can downloaded ringtones make your phone battery go flat quick?

downloaded it yesterday afternoon, only recieved a few calls but my battery was flat this morning. is that normal?

1. downloading will definitely. using them will strain your battery just like any other mp3 ringtone-no more, no less.
2. Hi Harvey any type of downloading takes time and yes it will make it burn out quicker than just having it set still.
3. not the ringtones themselves. The only thing that can male it go flat is if you play the ringtone 100 times, or stuff like animated wallpapers, or animated themes. And the actual action of downloading the ringtone also takes battery away But the ringtone once downloaded, cant do any harm
