Download totally free ringtones

free ringtone problems?

ok i have a samsung t509 and i tryed out phonezoo which got the song on my phone but can not set it as a ringtone. i though it was cuz its a mp3 format, but when i BOUGHT one, which i didnt want to, it was a mp3 format as well. im so confuse on how to get actual ringtones on my phone. i really do not wanna pay 2 bucks for a 5-10 sec tone. my friend uses phonezoo for his razor and so i know it works. does any one know how to get free ringtones on a samsung phone or can help my format problem? i tryed http://www.myxertones.com/ didnt work

1. try http://www.myxertones.com/default/ I have got over 250 from them they all work they are free and can be downloaded in several different formats so you should be able to find on that works
2. I have the T509 with T-Mobile and it works great with Phonezoo. It definitely works with mp3 files. When I download it, I just press play and it starts playing. Then press OK, and it asks Set as Ringtone? Just click Yes and select ringtone. My friend has the T509 Plum and you can't set it as a ringtone though. I think the Plum has different software on it because there are a few other differences as well.
