What othere websites can i get free ringtones for my cellphone?

1. the only one i found that did not have a catch to it was budweiser.com...they have a couple you can send to your phone absolutly free. of course it has to do with budweiser.

3. You can get as many free ringtones as you want if you have the right phone and a bit of technical savvy. You phone does need at least limited capability to browse the internet. Firstly, find out what sort of files your phone can play. Mine, and many others, can play straight .mid files, which makes it easier, but even if yours can only play some odd format, there are free converters out there on the web that will turn .mid files into whatever format you need. Second, search for whatever .mid file you want. There are TONS of these out there, this should be the easiest part. Third, find a free WAP site. I use http://www.davidpye.com/freewap/index.php myself, but there are more out there. At this site you just upload whatever file you want and it will give you a url to type into your phone to download it, or you can browse through all the uploads to find it. This can be done with pictures for phone wallpaper, .wav files if your phone can play real music and voices, and even games, though I haven't tried to mess with games yet. Uploads on that particular site stay up for 2 hours, more than long enough to grab it with your phone and short enough to keep it all uncluttered. P.S. It may take a little work to find out what you phone is cabable of. The cell companies would, of course, much rather make you buy their ringtones than have you getting free ones, and the only way they can do is by not telling you that your phone is capable of it. So you wont find that kind of information in your phone's manual. A little trial and error is necessary. I found out, for example, that my phone can play .mid files, but not ones over 20kb in size. Trying to download one larger that that will give me the message "Server Error" Which of course has nothing to do with the server at all, but again, they don't want to tell you that.
