Can I make my own ringtones for my Verizon Wireless MOTOKRZR K1m phone?
I tried just making a sound recording of a song with the phone, but it sounded horrible and it wouldn't let me set it as a ringtone. If I had software and a USB cable to transfer a music file to the phone, do you think it would let me use it as a ringtone? I'm lost on this.

- There's a couple ways you could go about it. If you have music on your computer, you can make ringtones out of that. Convert the music file to a wave file. Then, using a program like Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/), cut ~20 seconds of music that you want to use as your ringtone. Save the file as an .mp3. Then, rename the .mp3 ending to .mid (example: ringtone.mp3 --> ringtone.mid). From there, you can try emailing it to yourself, but Verizon has been stopping emails that contain attachments to it. I've found this website to be useful: http://mgm.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php It'll send you a text message. You have to hit options and savse sound as ringtone. That might work for you. It did for me, but with the Samung Alias. Best of luck.
