I have a Sanyo Katana DLX, how can I make my mp3s on the phone into ringtones?

I can put mp3s onto the phone by uploading them to the microSD card, but how can I make those mp3s be ringtones? I don't have the internet on the phone so I don't want to use the internet to get ringtones...if I did I would already have ringtones. Thanks. I know how to make the actual ringtone, I want to know how to assign it as a ringtone on the phone. That is what I am trying to do. Thanks.

1. the same way that you put the mp3 on your phone with your cable onto your sd card, you can use a free online site called ventones where you upload any mp3, and make a ringtone out of it. Then you can save it on your pc and put it on your phone. or they will send it to your phone. Works great on my sprint Muziq
2. I have been asking this exact same question (check out my profile if you want). I have still been searching, that's what I was doing when I ran across your question. As of yet, I haven't been able to find any site that says how to do so. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
