How to make mp3 files into ringtones on palm centro? I am trying to make my mp3 files into ringtones on my palm centro, but nothing works. I have tried the email method, but i can't get the songs to download. When i try to use the method to save them to my micro sd card, and then save them as ringtones, it doesn't give me the option to save them as ringtones. I am following instructions completely, and it still never gives me an option to save as ringtones. Is there a program that i can install on my centro to make mp3 files ringtones? Cn anyone give me a simple version of how to make mp3's into ringtones for palm centro? PLEASE@ !

Well i have tried ventones and it doest work because my web browsing is disabled and i have tried converting mp3 files into 3G2 files but apparently the mythic does not support that file type and to make things even worse all the default ringtones sux!!!!!! I can put songs (mp3) onto the phone and play them through its mp3 player, and I can put photos, etc. onto the phone. The 3 folders on my phone/card are 'My Images', 'My Videos' and 'My Music'... no 'My Sounds' or anything. I just can't figure out how to make mp3s on my computer into ringtones. Does anyone know of an easy way to edit MP3 songs into ringtones and then download them to my phone? My phone has capacity for about 30MB worth of ringtones on it. I want to be able to edit the MP3 song down so that I just get the chorus. I have a collection of MP3 songs stored on my laptop. I have Bluetooth on my phone and I'm planning to get a Bluetooth dongle in order to be able to transfer files between the laptop and the phone. Does anyone know of some reasonably cheap but reliable software that can be used to simply trim down the track on my laptop? I have a Sony Ericsson K700i and I'm based in Ireland in case this makes any difference. Thanks for the suggestions so far but none of the websites mentioned seem to allow editing of tracks. They just seem to either allow you to download ready-made ringtones or compress the music to a smaller size. I just want to extract the chorus. Any ideas?

Why does my verizon phone transfer MP3 formated ringtones into QCP format? I have a Samsung U740 and i use Myxer.com or Mobile17.com to send ringtones to my phone. Worked fine at first, now every ringtone is transfered into QCP. I wouldnt have a problem except the ringtones sound really muffled. like they're underwater. How can i fix it? LG RUMOR HELp??? So i just recently got a new LG Rumor and i love it. I have a micro SD card in it also, so i have music and other things on it. The one problem ive come across is that i cant seem to make my audio files set to ringtones. Im taking songs off my computer, putting them into the audio file of the sd card, and then putting it back into my phone. Does the w810i (sony ericsson) have the capability to play mp3 songs you input into it as ringtones? I transfered songs as mp3 files on my w810i phone and tried to set them as ringtones but it says "cannot use file". so i tried to trim the track down to 30 sec and 20. but it still said "cannot use file" but i am able to use it as an alarm signal and message rigner but not a ringtone. im getting a bit frustrated because i use to have the w600i and i had to trouble. so if anyone konws what format it should be or how it can be done it be a great help. thaks
