Ringtones? I have a new Sony Walkman Sony580i. I'm pretty skilled with phones, computer, technology but I'm stumped. I've uploaded free games to my phone, I've uploaded photos to my phone, and even songs to my MP3 that my phone has. The only problem I am having is uploading my own ringtone from my computer to the phone. I used to have Slvr, and I did that all the time. I would take a song that was on my SD card on my Slvr, move it to my phone and make it a ringtone. Yeah, not working with this phone. Can anyone help me figure out how to make my own ringtones for the new Sanyo M1 phone from Sprint? Should I use myjal? I used to have a nextel phone and used adobe and myjal to make my own ringtones and transfer them to my old cell phone through the use of a data cable. Got sick of nextel and didn't use the walkie feature anymore so I changed over to sprint and got the new Sanyo M1 phone. This has tons of features and 1gb of memory. Im wondering if anyone knows how to make my own ringtones or change wallpaper and any other features I might be able to use with this phone? Do i need a certain program, can i use one of the free ringtone maker websites? What's the cheapest and easiest way to do this? Also, Ive heard that this m1 uses mp3 files and that it plays songs and tones in stereo as opposed to having to be in a .wav file. Thanks! I have a Sanyo Katana DLX, how can I make my mp3s on the phone into ringtones? I can put mp3s onto the phone by uploading them to the microSD card, but how can I make those mp3s be ringtones? How many pictures or ringtones downloads make up 5MB of media? I purchased a samsumg sync phone which plays music and has internet. I also joined cingular and got their 5mb a month data plan. I basically use my phone to download screen savers, ringtones and pictures. But you can also transfer songs from your pc to the phones media player. On average how many pics or ringtones could I get before I'm done. I know I'm supposed to be able to check with cingular but Ive had the phone for 3 days and they keep saying info unavailable at this time.
How can I make my songs into ringtones? I assume this is part of their stupid ploy to get me to purchase their ringtones. But they only have crappy choices! My phone has the ability to play music, and to set audio I record with it as ringtones. But it won't let me use my music files as ringtones. I can't think of any good reason why this is case. How can I add ringtones from my Mac to my Sony Ericsson Z310i? I bought the USB cord to connect my Sony Ericsson z310i to my MacBook, as I was told when I purchased it that it would allow me to transfer mp3s or midis to my phone as ringtones, but I can't get my MacBook to recognize that the phone's hooked up so I can transfer the files.
